Michael Taylor And Family Pickleball Courts Opening In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, CT — The opening ceremony for the Michael Taylor and Family Pickleball Courts in Mansfield is on tap for this week.

The celebration is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. at the new courts, located behind the Mansfield Community Center, adjacent to the playground.

The ceremony will include remarks from key stakeholders and town staff and government representatives, and will conclude with a ribbon cutting and ceremonial first serve. In the event of rain, the ceremony will move indoors at the Mansfield Community Center.

Several local businesses, foundations, community members, along with town of Mansfield committees, departments and staff members made contributions to the construction of the courts:
