State police have released additional information a truck versus bicycle accident in Downtown Storrs.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police have released additional information a truck versus bicycle accident in Downtown Storrs.
On Tuesday at about 6:30 p.m., state police were dispatched to E.O. Smith High School after a pickup truck struck a bicyclist while exiting the parking lot of the school, according to a report.
The driver then fled in the vehicle, state police said.

No serious injuries were reported.
State police released a photograph of the suspect vehicle.

They later reviewed school surveillance footage and discovered the truck in question is a white GMC or Chevrolet with a dual cab and black rims. It is shown picking up a passenger in front of the school, state police said.
