STORRS, CT — The NIL Store powered by Campus Ink has announced UConn as an official NIL licensee. The announcement was made on Twitter Tuesday and pertains to "every UConn athlete in every sport," according to the posting.
The goal is to provide "name, image and likeness merchandising opportunities" (or NIL) for "all UConn student-athletes," the company said in its posting.
The online store is "coming soon," according to the posting.

The NIL Store powered by Campus Ink will launch a complete NIL merchandise store for UConn student-athletes, featuring jerseys and officially licensed apparel, according to the posting. NIL Store athletes make commission rates of between $8 and $15 on every item sold, according to the posting.
Every athlete signed up will possess a personalized digital locker room which will house their merchandise, officials said.
