Part of Hunting Lodge Road to Close for Through Traffic Starting Monday, Nov. 10

Construction work on the road is expected to close it to through traffic for three weeks, beginning Monday, the town government announced.

An announcement from Mansfield town government (the section within parentheses here has been rewritten by Patch; the link shows a map of the closed part of the road):

Beginning Monday, November 10th, 2014, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, the northern end of Hunting Lodge Road (from the road’s intersection with Birch Road to the Route 44 [Middle Turnpike] intersection) will be closed to through traffic.

The work is anticipated to take approximately three weeks. During the work hours, access will be limited to emergency vehicles, Town of Mansfield school buses, and local residences which driveways are in the work area. All other vehicles are requested to seek alternate routes to help reduce congestion. The bikeway will be open and will not be restricted.
