Physician from Mansfield Is Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges
The incident was reported by an 18-year-old patient who sought treatment at an urgent care center in Norwich.
A physician from Mansfield was arrested on sexual assault charges Thursday after an 18-year-old woman told Norwich police that he assaulted her when she sought treatment at a Norwich urgent care center.
The incident reportedly occurred March 30 when an 18-year-old patient was treated by Dr. Manoj K. Saxena, 44, of Mansfield, according to NBC Connecticut.
Saxena was working at Concentra Urgent Care in Norwich, when the assault occurred. He is charged with one count each of second- and fourth-degree sexual assault.
