Power Restored At UConn After Classes Canceled: UPDATE
Power has reportedly been restored at UConn's Storrs campus.

STORRS, CT — Power was restored all buildings at the University of Connecticut Storrs campus Monday afternoon. Previously, all in-person and online classes were canceled Monday.
Those that were fed by the affected circuit have all been moved to other circuits.
Repairs are continuing to the damaged electrical infrastructure that interrupted service on that circuit, but the work is taking place largely underground and won’t affect traffic or other UConn operations, according to university officials.

Damage was limited to the specific high-voltage line and its related equipment; the UConn Central Utility Plant itself has been operating without problems throughout the process.
At first, the university only canceled classes in the morning, but power had not been restored by noon, and the university made the decision to cancel the day's remaining classes.

Classes and operations at the regional campuses (Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, Avery Point, UConn Health, School of Law) were not affected.
University officials said the power outage "has been traced to a problem involving an underground high-voltage line on campus...it’s a lengthier and more complex repair than what would be necessary in a typical outage."
No injuries or traffic issues were reported.
Gampel Pavilion has power, and tonight’s basketball game will occur as scheduled, according to the university.
