Radio Station Out of UConn Game Coverage

STORRS, CT – WTIC radio is out University of Connecticut coverage, a play-by-play announcer Tweeted on Friday.
The Tweet by Joe D'Ambrosio said:
After 26 terrific years, @WTIC1080 will no longer broadcast @UConnHuskies games after the current season. Many at the station, including myself are heartbroken.
IMG on Friday today announced a 10-year, multimillion-dollar partnership with iHeartMedia and 97.9 ESPN, Hartford’s Sport Station, to serve as the Home of the UConn Huskies.
