Rain Makes Its Return to Mansfield This Weekend

The updated forecast won't be a complete washout this weekend and we'll let you know which day is best for outdoor plans.

It looks like rain is ready to make its return to Connecticut just in time for this weekend.

We’ve reached the point where we can really say, "we need the rain," as most of the state is in the midst of a severe rainfall shortage.

It’s not going to be a complete washout of a weekend, but we’re looking at the potential for a good soaking rain later this weekend. If you have outdoor plans Saturday definitely is the better of the two days. It’s likely that the heaviest rain will fall Sunday night though showers and thunderstorms are possible during the day on Sunday too.
