Report: Auriemma's Latest Contract Valued at More Than $10 Million
Details of the contract were obtained by USA Today.
STORRS, CT — Geno Auriemma's latest contract is worth millions and it looks like we will all get at least five more years of him at the helm of the University of Connecticut's women's basketball team.
USA Today obtained details of a contract he signed in October via a Freedom of Information request.
His base salary is $2.4 million this season, according to the report. It is valued at more than $10 million, according to the report.

UConn is scheduled to put it's historic 101-game winning streak on the line Wednesday against Temple at the XL Center in Hartford. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Huskies are also slated for action Saturday when they host Memphis in a 4:30 p.m. game at Gampel Pavilion.
