Restaurant Looks to Make Money from UConn Mac 'n' Cheese Student Tirade
The money made from selling the dish demanded by a student is being donated to the school's Huskython benefit.

In the viral aftermath of a University of Connecticut student’s profanity-laden outburst and shoving of a campus dining hall manager, another restaurant at the school reportedly is looking to make money on it — all for a good cause.
D.P. Dough – Storrs, a chain that describes itself as dishing calzones, wings, and breadsticks, decided to offer the student his much-desired bacon mac ’n’ cheese with jalapeños. It sold out of the mac ‘n’ cheese after posting its offer Tuesday on social media, according to WTIC. So on Wednesday, the restaurant offered to continue making the concoction and donate $2 from every purchase made on Wednesday and Thursday to Huskython.
Huskython is a yearlong fund drive that raises money for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, according to its website.

The student, Luke Gatti, 19, of Bayville, NY, is seen in a nine-minute You Tube video that now has more than 1.6 million views, verbally and physically taunting and then assaulting the manager who refused to serve him because the student was drinking a beer.
The manager can be heard telling Gatti, “I just refused you service. You can’t come in here with a bottle of booze dude. Think.” Students and two employees tried to intervene but things didn’t start to simmer down until a chef and the manager pinned the student to the floor waiting for UConn Police to arrive.

The incident occurred in the Union Street Market in the Student Union shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, according to The Daily Campus.
