Rolling Car Pins Teen Against Building During UConn Move-In Weekend
A teen was hit by a car while helping a UConn student move into a residence hall, officials said.

STORRS, CT β A teenager was seriously hurt after being pinned against a building by a rolling vehicle during move-in weekend at the University of Connecticut, officials said.
The initial call came in just before 10 p.m. Sunday. UConn emergency personnel were told that a person had been stuck by a vehicle at the North Residence Halls complex.
A university spokeswoman said a 16-year-old, who is not a UConn student, was helping a UConn student move in at a residence hall, and tried to stop a vehicle that was "out of gear" and had started to roll.

The teen was taken by ambulance to Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
