Route 44 Trench Paving in Mansfield to begin Monday, October 19, at 6 a.m.

Paving area stretches from Jensen's Rolling Hills Community to Four Corners

Connecticut Water has announced that final paving of the trench excavated for the installation of water main along Route 44 between Jensen’s Rolling Hills Community and the Route 195 intersection is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. on Monday, October 19. Some preliminary work may begin on Friday, October 16. There will be travel lane closures related with this work and motorists should plan accordingly. The work hours are between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This paving work will bring the area of the excavation up to the current grade of the road.
