Scooter, Bike, Stolen 2 Hours Apart in Mansfield
State police are investigating the thefts of a bicycle and a scooter that took place roughly two hours apart on Wednesday.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police are investigating the thefts of a bicycle and a scooter that took place roughly two hours apart on Wednesday.
At 2:50 p.m., a scooter valued at $2,800 was stolen from a Poplar Lane residence, state police said. It belonged to a 17-year-old and the teen told state police it was stolen from the back yard, according to a report.
At 4:32 p.m., a black bike was reported stolen from Wilbur Cross Parkway. The 20-year-old owner from Middlebury told police a lock had been cut.

Both thefts are being investigated, state police said.
