Severe Thunderstorm Potential for Mansfield

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued Wednesday by the National Weather Service for Hartford and Tolland counties.

Some strong to severe thunderstorms, accompanied by large hail and/or damaging wind gusts, are possible Wednesday afternoon and early evening, the NWS said.

"The risk is greatest across Connecticut, Rhode Island and south of the Massachusetts Turnpike," the NWS said.
