Shooter Sought in Eastern Connecticut
State police are looking for a shooter after an incident in Eastern Connecticut.

WINDHAM, CT — Detectives from the state police Eastern District Major Crime Squad are looking for a shooter in Eastern Connecticut.
At 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, state police from the Troop K barracks responded to 577 Boston Post Road in Windham for a reported physical altercation between two people, state police said.
The victim sustained a minor injury and was transported to Windham Hospital for treatment, state police said.

Eastern District Major Crime Detectives responded to the scene and are actively investigating the incident, state police said.
"This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public or community," state police said.

Anyone with information on the shooting is being asked to contact Troop K at 860-465-5400 or text TIP711 and the information to 274637. All calls/texts will remain confidential, state police said.
