Skunk Sneaks into UConn Building

STORRS, CT — A skunk found its way into a busy University of Connecticut academic building on Tuesday.

UConn Police received a call around 2:15 p.m. about a skunk had somehow found its way into the Torrey Life Sciences Building, UConn spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz said.

The skunk was hiding behind a couch in a first-floor hallway, she said.

The skunk found its way outside without incident when a door was propped open, she said.

Had the skunk sprayed it would have been the third fire department call that afternoon. Click here to read more about the wild Tuesday on campus.
