Snow Prompts Major Change to UConn Operations Statewide

STORRS, CT — All of UConn’s campuses will be closed on Tuesday due to anticipated significant snowfall.

Since this week is UConn’s spring recess, no classes were scheduled and most students are already away from campus, university officials said.

Only essential employees such as those in public safety, facilities and other departments are required to report to work on Tuesday, university officials said.

Students, employees and the general public can check the UConn Alert website atwww.alert.uconn.edu at any time for updated campus status updates, instructions for emergencies, safety resources, and other information.
