MANSFIELD, CT — Mansfield residents looking for spring activities will find youth sports, aquatics, fitness classes and outdoor programs through the town’s Parks & Recreation Department. The seasonal lineup is centered at the Mansfield Community Center, local parks and other town facilities, according to Mansfield Parks & Recreation information.

Youth athletics are a major part of the spring schedule. The department offers programs aimed at keeping children active while helping them build skills and teamwork. Seasonal offerings include organized sports and recreation activities for children and teens.

Aquatics are also a large part of the spring lineup. Programs include group and private swim lessons, the youth swim team known as the Marlins, and water fitness and therapy programs. Certification opportunities, including lifeguard training and CPR, are also available through the department.
