State Police Investigating Thefts At Auriemma's Restaurant

MANSFIELD, CT — State police are investigating thefts at Geno Auriemma's restaurant in Storrs Center.

The University of Connecticut women's basketball coach owns Geno's Grill across from the UConn campus. The thefts took place on Sept. 19 and involved coats and purses that were hanging on coat racks near the rest rooms, according to a state police report.

The incident took place after the restaurant had closed to the public, state police said.
