State Police: Suspicious Death in Willimantic Ruled a Homicide
The body was discovered on Wednesday.

WILLIMANTIC, CT — State Police on Friday said a suspicious death at 621 Valley St. in Willimantic has been ruled a homicide.
The body was discovered on Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. and the death was ruled suspicious, according to a police report. The Willimantic Police Department and the States Attorney’s Office requested the assistance of squad members.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the body, state police said. The victim gas been identified by state police as William Alvarado, who lived at the address and turned 73 on Aug. 1.
