Stolen Amtrak Equipment Recovered In Mansfield: State Police
Two men were charged with first-degree larceny for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of construction equipment.

MANSFIELD, CT — Two Coventry men were charged with first-degree larceny for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of construction equipment, state police said.
Nicholas McMahon, 38 and Jeffrey Mazzola, 62, were arrested on Halloween morning.
Some of the items were being sought by Amtrak Police and had a total value of $37,500, according to a report. The were found on property on Fern Road in Mansfield, according to a report.

When located, McMahon was operating a Bobcat Skid Steer construction vehicle valued at $20,000, which was missing from a site in Rocky Hill, according to a report.
Both are due in court On Nov. 14, state police said.

McMahon posted a $75,000 bond and Mazzola posted a $50,000 bond, state police said.
