Storrs Congregational-UCC to Hold Week of Welcome Tag and Bake Sale, Breakfast on the Lawn, Blessing of the Backpacks

Storrs Congregational Church-UCC will hold its annual Husky Week of Welcome Tag and Bake Sale on Saturday, August 27, and Sunday, August 28, at the church.

The event will run from 1:00pm. to 6:00p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday.

Furniture, kitchen and decorative items, sports equipment, garden tools, office supplies and more will be for sale along with a variety of baked goods.

Proceeds will support the church’s outreach ministries.

The community is also invited to a free breakfast on the lawn from 9:00am to 9:45 am on Sunday, followed by a worship service, with the annual Blessing of the Backpacks, at 10:00am.
