Storrs Named Best Town For Basketball Fans

WalletHub has named Storrs as the best place to live for basketball fans.

Storrs is home of the UConn Huskies who have been strong forces in both men’s and women’s college basketball for years.

The men’s team has won four NCAA tournament championships between 1999 and 2014.

The women have won nine NCAA tournament championships. They also hold the longest winning streak in men’s and women’s college basketball at 90 games.

WalletHub considered both towns and cities with college and professional teams. It ranked based on the success of teams, ticket prices and stadium accessibility.
