MANSFIELD, CT — The Storrs Winter Farmers Market is moving to the University of Connecticut's Ratcliffe Hicks Arena for much of its upcoming season, giving the market more space to accommodate vendors and shoppers.

Market organizers announced the new location as part of an expansion effort aimed at serving longtime customers, Mansfield residents and UConn students.

The move follows a monthlong search for a larger winter venue. Organizers thanked UConn and the university's College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources for helping make the relocation possible.
