Student Pinned By Vehicles In Coventry
A Coventry High School student was pinned between two cars in a parking lot Wednesday morning, police said.

COVENTRY, CT — A Coventry High School student was pinned between two cars in a parking lot Wednesday morning, police said. The incident took place at 7:18 a.m., police said.
A 16-year-old girl was pinned between a parked vehicle and another vehicle backing up, police said. She was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center by ambulance with serious injuries, police said.
The case is under investigation. The accident occurred at the high school located at 78 Ripley Hill Road.

A police official told Patch Wednesday afternoon that the student is at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and is expected to recover from her injuries.
