Summer Makes its Return to the Mansfield Forecast

It doesn't appear to be a week where we'll put a dent in Connecticut's severe drought status.

It’s going to feel like summer has returned in Connecticut at least through Wednesday as temps will hit 80 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday. But by the upcoming weekend it will feel like fall again with temps hovering around 60 degrees.

We keep hearing and reading how Connecticut is in the midst of a severe drought and here is another forecast that doesn’t have an abundance of rain in it.

According to the National Weather Service, if we’re going to see any rain this week it looks like it's confined to Thursday night and Friday, but there is only a 30 percent chance for showers currently.

Also a reminder that this evening, (Monday, Oct. 17) a rocket launch out of Virginia could be visible from Connecticut. Right now the forecast during the time of the rocket launch calls for cloudy skies but you can also see it online too.
