A suspect in a Coventry bank robbery has been charged, police said.

COVENTRY, CT — A suspect in a Coventry bank robbery has been charged, police said.

On Thursday, Joshua Krajewski, 29, of the Dayville section of Killingly, was taken into custody at his residence by state police on an arrest warrant held by Coventry Police. The warrant stemmed from a Dec. 7, robbery at the Key Bank on Boston Turnpike in Coventry.

Krajewski is accused of entering the bank at 4 p.m., passing a note to a teller demanding money, and getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a report.

There were no weapons shown or implied, police said.

Information on Krajewski was obtained from tips generated by a previous news
release and a post on the department’s Facebook page, police said.

Krajewski has been charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree larceny, according to a report. He was being held on a $50,000 court and was slated to be arraigned in Rockville Superior Court on Friday.
