Suspects Identified in Willimantic Homicide
Detectives are seeking two "persons of interest" in the case.

WILLIMANTIC, CT — State police have identified a pair of suspects in a Saturday morning homicide.
And detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime squad are looking for them.
State police said those considered "persons of interest" in this case are:

- Ignacio Chach-Aperez 26
It is believed they are no longer in the area, state police said.
The victim identification is pending positive identification and next of kin notification, state police said.

The investigation is continuing by state police detectives. Anyone who has any information or knows the whereabouts of the suspects can contact Eastern District Major Crime detectives at 860-896-3230 or 860-896-3230 or text TIP711 with any information to 274637. All calls/texts will remain confidential, state police said.
At about 3 p.m. on Saturday, Willimantic police officers responded to 38 Pulaski Court in Willimantic for a reported disturbance, state police said.
Upon arrival officers located a male suffering from life-threatening injuries and provided first aid. Medical personnel responded to the scene and subsequently pronounced the male dead, state police said.
At the request of the Willimantic police chief and the State’s Attorney Office, state police detectives from Eastern District Major Crime squad responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
