Teens Accused of 'Jumping' Another Teen at Mansfield Park

More arrests are possible, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT — Three teens are facing criminal charges for allegedly ganging up on another teen at a local park.

More arrests are pending for the June 13 incident, state police said.

At 4:15 p.m. that day, a juvenile girl told troopers that she was "jumped" by several people and beaten up at Plains Road Park, according to an arrest report. Troopers tracked down the suspects near the riverbank on Atwoodville Road.

State police said those charged were:

  • Caroline Konczakowski, 18, who was charged with breach of peace
  • Mark Dorgan, 19, who was charged with unlawful restraint and breach of peace
  • Miranda Plourde, 18, who was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, and breach of peace

They were released on $5,000 bonds and are due in court on June 28 in Rockville, according to an arrest report.
