MANSFIELD, CT β€” Melanie Quansah, 21, of Middletown, NY, was charged with third-degree larceny, the illegal use of the credit cars and second-degree identity theft, according to an arrest report. The incidents took place on Farrell Road in Mansfield when she was working as a home health aide, according to an arrest report.

SOMERS, CT β€” A Willimantic teen is accused to stealing a truck from in front of the Xtra Mart, 169 Main St., state police said. The truck was recovered shortly after, according to an arrest report. Shawn Paulhus, 18, of Willimantic, was charged with first-degree larceny/motor vehicle theft, second-degree larceny and a license violation, according to an arrest report.

Oct. 28

MANSFIELD, CT β€” A Windham man was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly passing out behind the wheel of his vehicle at a traffic light, according to an arrest report. State police said they received emergency calls describing the scene on Mansfield City Road. When troopers arrived, they found 24-year-old Christian Perry out of the vehicle with Willimantic officers and he failed sobriety tests, according to an arrest report.

MANSFIELD, CT β€” Steven Stornetta, 28, of Lebanon, was charged with violating a protective order, according to an arrest report. His arrest took place after a domestic incident in Mansfield, according to an arrest report.

Nov. 2

MANSFIELD, CT β€” Two were arrested for "unlawfully" entering a residence on Storrs Road, according to an arrest report. Brendan Conway, 22, of Simsbury, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and a related conspiracy and Kyle Mullins, 22, of Mansfield, was charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass, according to an arrest report.

Nov. 3

VERNON, CT β€” An erratic driver on Interstate-84 wound up with a drunken driving charge, according to an arrest report. State police observed Nelson Ward, 37, driving erratically in the westbound lanes at 12:06 a.m. and pulled him over after following him for a short time, according to an arrest report. He crossed over lane markers several times, according to an arrest report.

SOMERS, CT β€” Jonathan Blair, 26, was charged with assault on a public safety officer at a correctional facility, state police said. Judicial marshals presented him in court, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT β€” Brianna Gill, 18, of Walpole, MA, was charged with criminal impersonation and possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at 10:28 p.m. on South Eagleville Road, according to an arrest report. She was the driver and was part of an attempt to cover up several cases of beer after being stopped, according to an arrest report. She also had a fake ID, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT β€” A 28-year-old Waterbury man was charged with driving under the influence and improper parking at 4:06 a.m. near Exit 68 on Interstate-84, state police said. Peter Jones, 28, was arrested after he lost control of his vehicle, traveled across three lanes, hit a pole and a rock, and bounced back partially in the right lane, according to an arrest report.

Nov. 5

SOMERS, CT β€” A New York City man was charged with driving under the influence, making a restricted turn and improper parking at 12:21 a.m., state police said. Troopers saw an Audi A4 jump a curb on Main Street and come to a rest on a private lawn and arrested the driver, 58-year-old John Canavari, an arrest report indicates.
