TOLLAND, CT β Here are the latest arrests posted in the state police Troop C arrest log:
Feb. 20
- MANSFIELD, CT β Ethan Tuchman, 33, of Foster Drive,. Willimantic, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief for an incident in November near his home, state police said. He was released on a $5,000 bond and has a court date of March 1, state police said.

- ELLINGTON, CT β An Ellington woman surrendered after learning she had an active warrant for her arrest for violating probation, state police said. Emilene Maurer, 24, of 14 Pinney Street, Ellington, was assigned a March 8 court date, police said. She had received a one-year a suspended sentence for evading and was serving a two-year probationary period, police said.
- SOMERS, CT β Adam Loizzo, 37, of Bristol, RI, was charged with driving under the influence after state police found him on foot at the intersection of Ninth District Road and Pinney Road, according to an arrest report. He told a trooper he had run out of gas and then failed a sobriety test, according to an arrest report.
- SOMERS, CT β Brandon Brackett, 34, of 156 Main St., Somers, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after an argument, state police said. He was initially held on a $10,000 bond, state police said.
Feb. 24
- MANSFIELD, CT β Jonathan Polansky, 22, of Drumlin Drive, West Simsbury, was charged with drunken driving and a lane violation on Route 195 at 12:37 a.m., state police said. He failed sobriety tests at the scene, state police said.

- VERNON, CT β Eder Barbosacosta, 27, of Quincy, MA, was charged with reckless driving and driving without a license at 7:36 a.m., police said. He was clocked at 94 mph near Exit 65 in Interstate-84 westbound, state police said. at first, he had only a Brazilian passport for an ID, state police said.
