TOLLAND, CT β Here are the latest major incidents and arrest out of the state police Troop C barracks.
April 24
VERNON, CT β A New Haven teen who had no driver's license was charged after being clocked at 106 mph on the eastbound stretch of Interstate-84 near the Manchester line, state police said. Angel Alberto Acosta-Calduch, 18, was charged with reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer and driving without a license, state police said.

April 25
TOLLAND, CT β Edward Lukas, 60, was charged with issuing a bad check and fourth-degree larceny, state police said. The incident took place at the Fieldstone Commons shopping plaza, state police said.

April 26
TOLLAND, CT β Patrick Cowperthwaite, 20, of 43 Berkley Drive, Vernon, was charged with operating a motor vehicle as a minor with an elevated blood alcohol level and failure to have headlights on for an incident at 1:47 a.m. on Merrow Road, state police said. He was first seen at a local business and a trooper then observed him pull away, turn off his headlights and attempt a U-turn on Goose lane, according to an arrest report. He then failed sobriety tests, state police said.
ELLINGTON/TOLLAND, CT β Jordan Harris, 26, of 60 pinney St., Ellington, was charged with violating probation/terms of discharge at a residence on Patridge Lane in Tolland, state police said. He was held on a $100,000 court-set bond and is due in court on May 10, according to state police.
