Troop C Log: Vo-Ag Truck Crash in Mansfield

Here are the latest incidents and arrests from the log book at the state police Troop C barracks.

Aug. 4

TOLLAND, CT — Eric Sylvain, 25, of Tolland was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, state police said. A woman had complained to state police that he assaulted her, according to an arrest report. She was taken to Rockville General Hospital after the incident, according to an arrest report.

MANSFIELD, CT — A truck belonging to the Region 19 School District collided with a Chrysler mini-van driven by a Willington resident while exiting an agricultural road on Route 195. There were no injuries reported. State police said the crash took place at 1:58 p.m.

Aug 6

MANSFIELD, CT — Jody William McBride, 58, of Mansfield, was charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility and a lane violation at 5:19 p.m., according to an arrest report. He hit a wall on Warrenville Road and was walking in the road after the accident, according to an arrest report.

ELLINGTON, CT — Lorilee Radke Yezak, 48, of Enfield, was charged with driving under the influence, interfering and a lane violation at 1:21 a.m., an arrest report indicates. The incident was on Jobs Hill Road, state police said.

Aug. 7

ELLINGTON, CT — Kathleen Blaney, 27, of Vernon, was charged with DUI, a lane violation and a license/registration violation at 6:43 a.m., state police said in a report. She hit a utility pole on West Road, state police said.
