Troopers Break into Car Spinning in Mansfield Mud Puddle
Troopers had to break into a muddy car with a passed out driver to shut it off.

MANSFIELD, CT — State police had to break into a car last week to stop it from spinning in patch of mud, a report indicates.
At 12:46 a.m. on Jan. 24, police found a man passed out in his vehicle, stuck in the mud, off Professional Park Road, according to an arrest report.
He was later identified as 34-year-old Eric Lundberg, of Longmeadow, MA.

State police said he awoke suddenly, hit the accelerator and the wheels of the car began to spin in the mud, according to an arrest report.
Troopers had to force the door open to get at the keys and shut the vehicle off, according to an arrest report.

Lundberg was charged with driving under the influence and illegally possessing a narcotic, according to a report.
