Troopers Raid Killingly Home, Confiscate Heroin

A Killingly man was taken into custody on drug charges, state police said.

KILLINGLY, CT — State police on Friday said they have closed a residential heroin distributorship in Killingly.

A raid on the West Palmer Street residence of 33-year-old Steven Beaudreau took place at 8:20 p.m. Thursday, state police said. As one set of troopers from the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force was descending upon the home, another was intercepting Beaudreau on Reynolds Street, according to a news release.

He was brought back to the home and a search warrant was executed, state police said.

During a search of the home, state police found "numerous" bags of heroin, packaged for sale, an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone, according to a news release.

Beaudreau was charged with heroin possession and possession with the intent to sell, state police said.
