Two Charged in Armed UConn Home Invasion Due in Court This Week

STORRS, CT β€” One person charged in a home invasion case at the University of Connecticut has posted a high bond and another has not and they are both due back in court on Friday, court records indicate.

Two Bloomfield residents β€” Tyler Mosby, 19 and Dominique Miller, 18 β€” have been charged with home invasion, first-degree burglary and robbery, the criminal use of a weapon and sixth-degree larceny, UConn police said.

According to arrest records, the two are accused of breaking into an occupied room at UConn on Feb. 6 armed with a handgun and taking 1 ounce of marijuana and $430 in cash.

Mosby has posted a $200,000 bond but Miller is still in custody on a $100,000 bond, according to court records.

Police interviewed the occupant of the room and develped a case against the two, according to arrest reports.
