UConn Announces Delayed Wednesday Schedule For All Campuses

STORRS, CT — All of the University of Connecticut’s campuses will open at 10 a.m. on a delayed schedule Wednesday to give crews extra time to clean roads and sidewalks.

Since it is the week of UConn’s spring recess, no classes were scheduled and most students are already away from campus, officials said.

Only essential employees such as those in public safety, facilities and other departments are required to report to work before 10 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Students, employees and the general public can check the UConn Alert website at www.alert.uconn.edu at any time for updated campus status updates, instructions for emergencies, safety resources, and other information.
