UConn Bookstore Getting a New Look

Summer renovations will give a new look to a hub of UConn campus life.

STORRS, CT — The UConn Bookstore will have a new look when students begin arriving for the fall semester.

The 45,000 square-foot building adjacent to Gampel Pavilion is undergoing a transformation to make it more open and inviting, University of Connecticut officials said Tuesday.

Renovations will include a new entrance from the outdoor seating area along Hillside Road.

The first floor will have a more open look, with the removal of the glass wall near the entrance at the corner of Hillside Road and Jim Calhoun Way, officials said.
