UConn Moving up the Ladder in Annual Grad School Rankings

The number of applicants for UConn's graduate programs is on the rise, according to a new report.

STORRS, CT — The number of students applying to graduate programs at the University of Connecticut is trending upward and UConn itself is rising in the U.S. News and World Report annual rankings for grad schools.

The latest rankings were released on Tuesday.

Over the past 10 years, the number of applicants to UConn’s graduate programs has jumped from from 8,400 in 2006 to 12,200 in 2016, according to the report.

Several of UConn’s graduate programs moved up on the U.S. News & World Report list, including the law and medical schools and the business, engineering and nursing programs.
