UConn Police Arrest Old Saybrook Man in Sexual Assault Investigation

He was a visitor on campus, police said.

STORRS, CT - A University of Connecticut police investigation into a sexual assault incident from October has resulted in the arrest of an Old Saybrook man who was visiting campus, law enforcement records indicate.

Max Levine, 20, surrendered to UConn police on Tuesday after learning that a warrant had been issued for his arrest, records indicate. Levine, who lives at 253 School House Road, Old Saybrook, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, according to an arrest report.

UConn police said the investigation began with an incident in October 2015. A woman reported that she was "forcibly groped" then by Levine while he was on campus visiting a "common friend," police said.
