UConn Posts Move-In Guidelines for Storrs, Stamford

STORRS/STAMFORD, CT — University of Connecticut officials on Friday posted guidelines for next week's move-in dates in Storrs and Stamford.

Here they are:

• New, first-year student move-ins for the Storrs Campus will take place on Friday, Aug. 24.
• New/returning transfer students, campus change students, and continuing Storrs students will be able to move in on Saturday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Aug. 26.
• All new residents (all incoming, transfers, and continuing students) to the Stamford Campus will be able to move in on Saturday, Aug. 25, and Sunday, Aug. 26.

Officials said Storrs students who wish to move in prior to Saturday, Aug. 25, may submit a request for Early Arrival status by following the steps detailed here. Siblings of an incoming Storrs first-year students will also need to complete an early arrival application in order to transition onto campus with with their siblings, officials said.

Stamford housing is not available for early arrival status for the Fall 2018 semester.
