UConn Recruiting 'Game Day Talent' for Sporting Events

STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut athletic department has announced a "talent tryout" for individuals in the state and throughout New England interested in "making their mark on the game day atmosphere and fan experience at UConn athletic events."

The tryout is scheduled for two dates this month – Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m.; and Thursday, Aug. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Both are slated for Gampel Pavilion.

UConn is looking for:

• "Energetic" in-game hosts
• National Anthem singers
• DJs/music operators
• Basketball halftime entertainment performers.

Interested groups and individuals will need to apply by filling out the application form found here.
