UConn Sends Out Alert After A Reported Sexual Assault
The assault took place on April 17, school officials said.
STORRS, CT - The University of Connecticut has sent out a alert to students warning them of a sexual assault incident that happened last week, NBC Connecticut reported.
On April 17, a student told a residential life staff member that she had been sexually assualted in a dorm room the night before.
The victim said she was in a familiar dorm room and was assaulted by as many as three people, the UConn alert said.

University officials said, the student has been offered "appropriate support" by being connected with a number of services and resources.
