STORRS, CT — One of the most long-standing traditions at the University of Connecticut is posing with the Jonathan statue. It's gone on, well, seemingly forever.

The Jonathan statue is part of a series by Patch and T-Mobile showcasing local traditions in Connecticut and the nation.

The Jonathan statue sits on UConn's Storrs campus in between the Hugh Greer Field House and Gampel Pavilion and depicts the Husky mascot in a regal pose at the Wolff Family Park. It's become a thing over the years to have photos taken at the statue either randomly or after special occasions.
