UConn Women Get Their Conference Hoop Schedule

STORRS, CT – The American Athletic Conference on Friday announced home and away matchups for the University of Connecticut and other conference members for the 2018-19 women’s basketball season.

Dates and times of these games will be released in August.

The Huskies will have home and away games against UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, USF and Temple. UConn will host ECU, Memphis and SMU, and will travel to Tulane, Tulsa and Wichita State.

Each team in the conference plays five of its 11 conference opponents twice and six opponents once – three at home and three on the road.

All 12 teams will compete in the 2019 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Championship will return to a Friday-Monday schedule, with the dates set for March 8-11, 2019.

Since joining the league in 2013, UConn has gone 86-0 in American conference play. The Huskies have won the regular season and tournament titles in each season.

UConn and USF competed in the NCAA Tournament last season while UCF, Cincinnati and Houston qualified for the WNIT.
