UConn Women Headed to 11th Straight Final Four

STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut women's basketball team earned a record 11th consecutive trip to the Final Four with a statement win over defending national champion South Carolina on Monday night.

Top-ranked UConn, 35-0, jumped all over South Carolina, 29-6, early en route to a 94-65 win.

The Huskies shot 58.7 percent from the floor, led by Crystal Dangerfield's 21 points.

UConn will play Notre Dame in the national semifinal. The Irish, 33-3, defeated the Ducks, 33-5, on Monday, 84-74.
