UConn Women To Participate In Inaugural Cayman Islands Classic
The University of Connecticut women's basketball team will play in a tropical tourney with a stacked field.
STORRS, CT — The University of Connecticut women's basketball program will compete in the inaugural Cayman Islands Classic tournament next season.
The event was announced by Caymax Sports Ltd. on Tuesday.
Eight teams will compete in the Classic on Nov. 24 and 25 at John Gray Gymnasium. The tournament field also includes 2023 NCAA Champion LSU, along with Virginia Tech, UCLA, Kansas, Niagara, Tulane and Virginia.
