UConn Women Release Bulk Of 2018-19 Hoop Schedule

The University of Connecticut women's basketball team on Thursday announced its complete 2018-19 schedule.

STORRS, CT – The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team on Thursday announced its complete 2018-19 schedule.

The nonconference slate features 13 games, including eight against opponents who competed in the NCAA Tournament. UConn will face four nonconference teams who finished 2017-18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll top 10: No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 4 Louisville, No. 6 South Carolina and No. 9 Baylor.

UConn starts the American Athletic Conference schedule against Houston on Jan. 6.

The Huskies will compete in 16 conference games, concluding at USF on ESPN2’s Big Monday on March 4. The sixth American Athletic Conference Tournament will take place March 8 throhgh 11 at Mohegan Sun Arena. UConn holds an 86-0 record in regular season American games and has won the last five conference titles.

The Huskies will compete on ESPN or ESPN2 seven times and on CBS Sports Network twice. Fifteen of UConn’s games will be broadcast on SNY, the TV home of the Huskies. All games televised on SNY will be available live on ESPN3 for those who live outside the SNY broadcast footprint.

2018-19 Schedule Notes

  • 10 games against 2018 NCAA Tournament participants
  • 19 games against 2018 postseason tournament participants
  • 11 games against teams ranked in the top 50 of the final 2018 RPI
  • Three games against teams ranked in the top five of the final 2018 RPI
  • Eight games against teams ranked in the final 2018 USA Today Coaches Poll, including four top-10 teams

Fans can purchase season tickets for games to be played at Gampel Pavilion, the XL Center or both venues. Gampel and XL will each host seven games this season. Season tickets are available HERE or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 877-AT-UCONN.
