UConn Women's Basketball Team Headed To Final Four After OT Win
The University of Connecticut women's basketball team defeated North Carolina State Monday night in Bridgeport.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — The University of Connecticut women's basketball team is headed back to the Final Four after a dramatic double overtime victory over North Carolina State Monday night. The final score was 91-87.
Paige Bueckers, who tallied 27 points, scored on several consecutive possessions in overtime, including eight straight points during one stretch. The lead kept changing between the teams in the fourth quarter and overtime periods, as neither squad could open up a sizeable lead. UConn opened up a five point lead in the double overtime and held on for the victory.
Already in the Final Four are the Stanford Cardinal and the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Final Four games will be held in Minneapolis on April 1. UConn was a No. 2 seed and North Carolina State was the No. 1 seed. UConn has now won 14 straight Elite Eight games.
