UConn Women's Hoop Transfer Has Successful Surgery
She brought a shoulder injury to Storrs with her.

STORRS, CT - University of Connecticut women’s basketball team transfer Batouly Camara underwent a successful surgical procedure on Friday to repair what a team spokesman called, "a pre-existing injury to her right shoulder."

Camara, a sophomore, transferred to UConn from Kentucky in May.
She is expected to be fully recovered in time for pre-season practice in October, a team spokesman said.

Camara will be forced to sit out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules but will have three years of eligibility remaining, beginning in 2017-18, the team said.
